Why Civil Engineering?
I have been involved in the engineering field for 12 years from my bachelor degree in civil engineering back to 2011. I was highly affected by my father who is a construction worker for buildings. He usually need to do heavy and dangerous construction work on-site such as painting a tall concrete wall using mortar. Therefore, I know more about on-site construction when I was young. Also, I wanted to find a solution to reduce labor work for construction, which inspires me to be an engineer. Fortunately, intelligent construction and smart cities are coming.
Growing Students
I feel wonderful when I watch students grow over time. They can fully understand the new knowledge and concepts in the class, continuing success in life beyond school.
A Unique Institution
The Global Engineering Program is unique at Mount Union; small class sizes and good interactions with students, plus a beautiful campus of course.
