Career and Aspirations
I am a professor in the social work department at Weber State University. I am pursuing an MBA because I was looking for a challenge and a different focus - something that can enhance my current degrees.
My ultimate career goal is to utilize my MBA to grow our department at Weber State, better understand the business of a large university. I also have aspirations of opening my own business one day, the perfect marriage of social work and business!
Why Mount Union's MBA Program?
When I found out Mount Union was offering an MBA online at the time I was looking to start it seemed like a natural choice. I had some great experiences with outstanding professors in my undergraduate program at Mount. Coming back to Mount was something that felt right.
Mount Union's MBA program has allowed me a better understanding of how I can utilize a business focus within my field of expertise. Having more diverse experiences with knowledge in another field enhances what I am able to offer in my career.
I would recommend Mount Union to friends or family member: Mount Union has a feeling of being close-knit. Having people in my cohort of various ages and experiences is helpful to gain a more in-depth understanding of concepts and application of what we are learning.
