Marketing and Sport Business double major

Mount Union feels like home to me because of the tight-knit community and atmosphere of the campus between faculty and students, and I have found that community through the School of Business.

Experiential Learning Opportunities

I have had so many! All because of Mount Union, I have had 4 internships. My internship this past summer was absolutely incredible. I was working with people from very prestigious institutions, and working hands-on with a corporate marketing department. I also had the opportunity to go on two trips with Mount Union, both for the American Marketing Association conference in New Orleans! This past year, we placed in the top 10 nationally for marketing strategy. My experience in marketing has allowed me to  know exactly what career I want after graduating. My untimate career goal is to be a marketing director, CMO, or creative director.

Advice to Prospective Students

I would say to students looking at colleges to picture themselves at a campus and map out what you want college to look like to you! I know I wanted a picture-perfect college experience. Brick buildings with a beautiful campus and a tight-knit community. I know I wanted a college that felt like home and warm, no matter what season it was. Looking at multiple schools is so important!

Impactful Faculty Members

Professor Laura Kelly and Dr. Lori Braa. Both of these incredible women helped shape me and my education over the past years. Their knowledge and encouragement are the reason why I am where I am today. Mount Union feels like home to me because of the tight-knit community and atmosphere of the campus between faculty and students, and I have found that community through the School of Business. Professors will go out of their way for students, and students will go out of their way for each other.
