MY EXCEPTIONAL STORY
Hearing about Mount Union
I heard about Mount Union through my university, Universidad de las Américas (UDLA), in Mexico City. We have an exchange program with Mount Union. The other international students, faculty and staff truly make Mount Union my second home. They are so welcoming and always willing to help others.
Going to a smaller school like Mount allows for more personal attention from both my professors and classmates, which ultimately helps me focus on my academics. I also really love Mount Union’s high academic performance. The Integrative Core has allowed me to grow as a writer and a speaker by taking a variety of liberal arts classes.
Psychology in a Business Environment
Psychology has always been an interesting subject to me. I want to learn how and why people function in a business environment. One of my favorite classes so far is my Intro to Counseling course. It is awesome to learn how to develop skills through role playing; it’s a unique, but great way to learn.
Going to a smaller school like Mount allows for more personal attention from both my professors and classmates, which ultimately helps me focus on my academics.
