Preview: Mount Union 2013
Preview: Mount Union is your chance to “preview” much of what Mount Union has to offer you, a new student, in terms of University life. Everything from scheduling classes to extracurricular activities; a chance to meet some of your faculty to staying overnight in one of our first year halls – it’s all here for you! Attend Preview: Mount Union and find out the why and how our students are ready for fulfilling lives, meaningful work and responsible citizenship upon graduation!
The Preview: Mount Union 2013 session dates are listed below.
- Preview Session 1: Friday, June 28 – Saturday, June 29
- Preview Session 2: Sunday, June 30 – Monday, July 1
- Preview Session 3: Friday, July 12 – Saturday, July 13
- Preview Session 4: Sunday, July 14 – Monday, July 15
- Transfer Student Preview: August 23
Registering for a Session
In order to reserve your spot in a session of Preview: Mount Union, you need to have paid your deposit with the Office of Admission at the University of Mount Union. If you are unsure as to your payment status, we encourage you to contact the Office of Admission at admission@mountunion.edu or (330) 823-2590.
Once your deposit is received, you will receive a letter containing your e-mail account and login information. Then, once you’ve received your Preview: Mount Union postcard, you can use that login information, you are then able to register for one of our four sessions!
When you register for Preview, you will also be asked to provide us with academic information that will aid the Office of Registrar in creating the draft schedule you will receive and have a chance to make changes to at Preview. Included in this information is information about the First Year Seminar (FYS) course. You will be asked to choose five FYS course in order of your preference, so please be sure to read about the First Year Seminar courses and be able to provide this academic information at the time you begin your Preview registration.
We have a limit on the number of students attending each session, so please be sure to register as soon as you are able in order secure your first choice session.

Fall Orientation 2013
Fall Orientation is part of an ongoing and multi-faceted transition process for new Mount Union students, which involves academic, intellectual and personal development pursuits. The primary goal of Fall Orientation is to inform new students of their opportunities and responsibilities as part of the campus as well as to initiate their integration into all aspects of the University of Mount Union community.
Fall Orientation 2013 will take place on Saturday, August 24 and Sunday, August 25. The schedule for Fall Orientation will be posted on this website in the summer of 2013.
