Spring Orientation 2015

Spring Orientation is your chance to learn about much of what Mount Union has to offer you, a new student, in terms of University life. The primary goal of Fall Orientation is to inform new students of their opportunities and responsibilities as part of the campus as well as to initiate their integration into all aspects of the University of Mount Union community. Attend Spring Orientation and find out the why and how our students are ready for fulfilling lives, meaningful work and responsible citizenship upon graduation!

We welcome both the students who are new to Mount Union as well as their families to participate in Spring Orientation. An email with further information about this program, including how to reserve your spot, as well as how to reserve your on-campus housing, will be sent once you pay your deposit, so keep an eye you for that. In addition, the Spring Orientation Schedule is here for your convenience, so be sure to check out what sessions we are offering during this program!

Checklist before your Arrival

  • Pay your deposit to begin the process of becoming part of the Mount Union family!
  • Be sure to confirm your attendance at Spring Orientation by responding to the email sent by First Year Initiatives
  • Complete your online housing form using the information sent in the email from First Year Initiatives
  • Complete your Health Center Forms[DJS2]
  • Send your final high school or official college transcripts to the Office of Admission.
  • Pay your tuition and room and board through the Office of Business Affairs

Preview 2015

Preview is your chance to “preview” much of what Mount Union has to offer you, a new student, in terms of University life. Everything from scheduling classes to extracurricular activities; a chance to meet some of your faculty to staying overnight in one of our first year halls – it’s all here for you! Attend Preview and find out the why and how our students are ready for fulfilling lives, meaningful work and responsible citizenship upon graduation!

The Preview: Mount Union 2015 session dates are listed below. The schedules for this program will be posted on this website in May of 2015

  • Preview Session 1: Friday, June 26 – Saturday, June 27
  • Preview Session 2: Sunday, June 28 – Monday, June 29
  • Preview Session 3: Friday, July 10 – Saturday, July 11
  • Preview Session 4: Sunday, July 12 – Monday, July 13
  • Transfer Student Preview: Thursday, August 27

Fall Orientation 2015

Fall Orientation is part of an ongoing and multi-faceted transition process for new Mount Union students, which involves academic, intellectual and personal development pursuits. The primary goal of Fall Orientation is to inform new students of their opportunities and responsibilities as part of the campus as well as to initiate their integration into all aspects of the University of Mount Union community.

Fall Orientation 2015 is mandatory for all first year students and will take place on Saturday, August 29 and Sunday, August 30 and will be followed by the Week of Welcome during the first week of classes. The schedule for Fall Orientation and Week of Welcome will be posted on this website in the summer of 2015.
