Family Medicine PA-C

I love Mount because their PA program is stellar- and what makes it great is the intelligent and caring faculty and staff!

Major

B.S., Biology

Location

Westminster, MD (Hometown) Beaver Falls, PA (Current)

Why Mount?

When I was applying to PA school, I was looking for a high-quality, affordable program in the greater Cleveland/Pittsburgh area. Mount was one of the top PA programs in Ohio, and when I interviewed and was accepted the same day, I knew it was going to be a great fit! As a student I got to participate in many fun events with UMU's PA program including the PA Olympics, Relay for Life, and other community outreach! I also was a recipient of the National Health Service Corps Scholarship, that ultimately got me linked to my current job.

Current Job

I provide primary care to patients at a Federal Qualified Health Center, which can certainly make for a unique family medicine environment. One Health Ohio's mission is to improve the health and well-being of people in our communities by providing quality healthcare, particularly to the uninsured and underinsured. I get to treat a wide variety of patients, from all ages, backgrounds and walks of life. So my job is never boring, that's for sure!

Favorite Memory?

I love Mount because their PA program is stellar- and what makes it great is the intelligent and caring faculty and staff! I stay connected by precepting current Mount PA students, which is always enjoyable!
