Mission and Vision

The College of Applied and Social Sciences (CASS) is a network of dynamic scholars, practitioners, and teachers who offer a student-focused model of excellence grounded in research and problem-based learning.

Vision

The vision of the CASS is to be a leader of excellence in higher education institutions offering programs grounded in the liberal arts tradition and applied and social sciences, with the fundamental goal of preparing students to be visionary and transformational leaders who are professionally prepared citizens and engaged advocates enacting social justice in national and international communities.

Mission

The mission of the CASS is to equip students with a global mindset, focusing on ethics, diversity, professionalism, and leadership. Our programs afford our students the opportunity to become highly skilled and adaptive learners while strategically positioning them as industry professionals and non-profit leaders poised to make valuable contributions within our regional and global communities.
