Safety and Parking

At the University of Mount Union, we are dedicated to creating a comfortable and safe environment for our students. The University strictly adheres to the requirements set forth by Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 (Title IX) in order to create a community free of harassment and sexual misconduct as well as a community that believes in equal opportunities for all genders and sexes. Students may report any Title IX infractions to the University Title IX Co-Coordinators from the Office of Student Affairs.

At Mount Union, students are able to work with both Campus Security and the Alliance Police Department to report any safety-related incidents or concerns, allowing students to feel safe both on and around campus. In cases of emergency, students can call the number for Campus Security or they may proceed to the nearest blue light emergency phone (which are found in ten locations around campus) to contact a dispatcher and receive immediate assistance. Campus Security also routinely patrols the campus to ensure the safety of students on campus as well as to enforce the University’s parking policies.

The University also permits students to have and park their car on campus. Parking is $100 per academic year for commuter, residential, and graduate students. For more information on parking, registering your car, or to view the campus parking map, visit the Parking and Vehicles page.
