Christmas Festival

The University of Mount Union Music Department will present its annual Christmas Festival on Thursday, December 5 at 11:15 a.m. and on Friday, December 6 and Saturday, December 7 at 7:30 p.m. in the Brush Performance Hall of the Giese Center for the Performing Arts.

This year’s program entitled Born in This Moment is under the direction of Festival Artistic Director, Dr. Grant William Cook III.

Founded in 2011, the annual Christmas Festival is a musical celebration of the Advent and Christmas seasons. The program includes traditional hymns and carols as well as seasonal concert music and selected readings. The year’s program features performances by the University of Mount Union Concert Choir and Cantus Femina (women’s chorus).

All Christmas Festival performances are free and open to the public. No-cost tickets will be available beginning November 15 at 10 a.m. and can be reserved by visiting or calling 330-821-2565.
