Presidential Scholarship Program

The Presidential Scholarship program is open to high school seniors demonstrating outstanding academic achievement and exceptional aptitude. The results of the program will determine the eight students who will be the following year’s University of Mount Union Presidential Scholars.

All students who wish to participate in the virtual program on December 7-11, 2020 must submit required documents for the program by November 15, 2020 at 5 pm EST. Eligible students will receive access to submit required documents after being admitted into the University. If you have already been admitted to the University, please log in to your application portal to check your eligibility and register for the program.

  1. Presidential Scholarship Recipient Awards and Benefits

    Presidential Scholarship recipients will recieve the following:

    • A full-tuition Presidential Scholarship to Mount Union. The scholarship is based upon the entering year's tuition rate and is renewable for up to a total of four years (eight semesters), provided the recipient maintains a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
    • Eligibility to participate in the University’s Honors Program and special Honors activities and events.
    • Invitations to exclusive events, providing an opportunity to learn from leaders in the professional world.
    • The opportunity to participate as hosts and members of interview teams in future Presidential Scholarship Programs.

Current high school seniors who have earned a minimum grade point average of 3.75 on a 4 point scale are eligible to participate in Mount Union’s full-tuition Presidential Scholarship Program. Students must submit required documents for the program by November 15, 2020 at 5 pm EST. Eligible students will receive access to submit required documents after being admitted into the University.
