Career Development's mission is to help students plan and prepare for life after graduation.

Student appointments are available for scheduling:

  • Career planning and career options (what am I going to do with the rest of my life?)
  • Job and internship search strategies
  • Graduate school planning
  • Interview preparation and mock interviews (employment and graduate school)
  • Professionalism and Career Readiness
  • Resume and cover letter development (for those who do not yet have a resume)
  • Resume and cover letter reviews provided by the DWOC Studio beginning Fall 2022

    Not sure what you want to pursue as a major? Schedule an hour meeting focused on self-assessment to identify what your strengths are, what careers are best suited for those strengths, and what majors to study in order to pursue that career.

    Your college experience is a journey, and every successful journey follows a carefully constructed plan. All students are unique, so it's important that we sit down together to develop the right plan in order for you to have a successful four years here at Mount Union. Whether you are looking for a 4-Year Academic Plan, or if you are looking for ways to maximize your 4-Year Plan through networking, and involvement, we can develop goals to accomplish both.

If you would like to meet our students please consider attending one or more of the following events. Please read our policies prior to registering for any of these events. Please scroll to the bottom of the page for more information on events. 

RECRUITER INFORMATION

Recruiting Policies. All employers who wish to participate in any type of recruiting activity with the University of Mount Union must read our recruiting policies and abide by these policies. The Career Development Office should be your first/primary point of contact, as all recruiting activity needs to be approved by the Career Development Office beforehand.

Employers who would like to attend our recruiting events or post jobs and internships must register on Handshake, our new career management system. All employers who register on this system will be vetted prior to approval. Once approved, they will be able to post professional level positions and internships.
