Geminid Meteor Shower Viewing

Bring the whole family and join us in the Northwoods area of the Nature Center to view the spectacular Geminid Meteor Shower! The Geminids are considered one of the most reliable annual meteor showers and one of the best showers for young viewers since this shower starts around 9 or 10 p.m. Be patient as this show will last until dawn, so you have plenty of time to catch a glimpse. Come dressed for cold winter weather: winter clothing, sleeping bags and blankets. The warmer you are the longer you can stay.  Bring a comfortable chair to recline in and observe the night sky.
