Transferring to Mount Union
I transferred from The Ohio State University, where I often felt like a number rather than a student or an individual. I knew I wasn't getting the grades that I could accomplish, and a smaller university like Mount Union gives me the support I need to thrive. The constant support from the beginning of the transfer process till now, has made me love Mount Union even more. Matthew Furgiuele has had the biggest impact on my experience. He went above and beyond to support me during my transfer process and continued to do so after his promotion to Assistant Director of Transfer and Readmission. He helped me plan my academic path and still offers guidance whenever I have questions or need support, even though he is no longer my advisor.
Career Readiness
My ultimate career goal is to attend law school and become a lawyer, and Mount Union has helped prepare me by providing supportive professors who guide me both academically and personally. They have been giving me recommendations on where to apply, and they've offered to be a reference on my applications.
