Graduate Student at The Ohio State University

Through the leadership positions I held and clubs I was involved in during my time at UMU, I developed various communication, leadership and professional skills that have helped me immensely with interviews and being successful in graduate school.

Education

B. S. Neuroscience, University of Mount Union

Location

Massillon, OH

Why Mount?

I chose Mount Union because of the small class sizes and the ability to be successful in my major. I also liked the combined neuroscience, psychology and human development and family sciences program. I love Mount Union because it became my home away from home over the 3.5 years I was there. The people I met and connections I made will have a lasting impact on me. I will remember the memories I made here for the rest of my life!

Campus Involvement

Through the leadership positions I held and clubs I was involved in during my time at UMU, I developed various communication, leadership and professional skills that have helped me immensely with interviews and being successful in graduate school. I stay connected to Mount Union through social media and also try to visit the beautiful campus whenever I am in the area!

Career

I am currently a graduate student in The Ohio State University's Master of dietetics and nutrition program. I am hoping that upon graduation I will become a board certified registered dietician nutritionist (RDN) and work in the field as a sports nutritionist! I love being able to help people with their dietary needs and seeing how food can truly heal someone. I am so excited to begin my career as an RDN and be able to work in the clinical field. One goal I would like to accomplish is helping people that may have trouble with eating or knowing what foods to eat to achieve their goals. I hope I can make a difference in someone's life!
