Preview is a chance to “preview” much of what Mount Union has to offer you, a new student. You will schedule classes, learn about extracurricular activities, meet other students as well as faculty and staff, and much more! Participating in the Preview experience will teach you why and how our students are ready for fulfilling lives, meaningful work, and responsible citizenship upon graduation.
Preview will consist of multiple components designed to introduce new students to life at Mount Union as well as other new students, upperclass students, faculty, and staff. Additionally, educational sessions and modules will be provided to ensure new students are prepared to begin college in August. More details are provided below.
Course Registration program: The Course Registration program is a half-day virtual event. In addition to registering for their fall semester courses, students will also learn about academic requirements, advising, and how to best achieve success in college from the student perspective. Students will preference their top four course registration sessions when completing Preview registration (below) and will then be assigned a session by our Office of First Year Initiatives. The course registration sessions will begin at 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. on the dates below:

- June 29
- July 10
- July 13
New Student Group Meetings: New student group meetings will be facilitated by our upperclass Preview Guides weekly for 3 consecutive weeks. New students will preference four meeting times for which they are available when completing Preview registration (below). They will then be assigned to a group by the Office of First Year Initiatives. Dates for these meetings will be determined by which course registration date students are assigned and are detailed below:
- June course registration dates: June 14 - July 2
- July course registration dates: July 5 - July 23
Online Preview program: All new students will complete an online program which will include information regarding residential or commuter life, ordering books, campus resources, and much more. Students will receive an email through the New Raider News series when the online program becomes available in late June. We ask that students complete the online Preview program before the end of July.

Register for Preview
Preview registration is now open. Preview registration needs to be completed online. To complete your Preview registration, please log into your application portal.
Please note that you will need the personal email address and password used to complete your University of Mount Union admission application. Once you login to the application portal, the link to Preview registration will be on your welcome page. The registration form will ask for academic information including your intended major and academic interests as well as any College Credit Plus or AP work you’ve completed. Additionally, new students will rank their preferred course registration and new student group sessions.
New students will receive a confirmation email within one week of submitting their registration form confirming their Preview sessions. This email will also contain login information for their sessions.
Please register for Preview as soon as you are able to do so. We have a limit on the number of students participating in each course registration session and new student group. Once a session reaches capacity, we will no longer be able to accept registration requests for that session.
