Preview is a chance to “preview” much of what Mount Union has to offer you, a new student, in terms of University life. You will schedule classes, learn about extracurricular activities, meet faculty, stay overnight in a first year residence hall and much more! Attending Preview will teach you why and how our students are ready for fulfilling lives, meaningful work and responsible citizenship upon graduation!
Preview 2019 Dates
All students who plan to enroll for the fall 2019 semester as their first semester in college after graduating from high school are required to attend one of the following overnight Preview sessions, and participate in the entire program (which includes spending the night on campus in one of our first year residence halls):
- Preview 1: June 28-29 (We are no longer accepting reservations for this session.)
- Preview 2: June 30-July 1 (We are no longer accepting reservations for this session.)
- Preview 3: July 12-13
- Preview 4: July 14-15
Please register for Preview as soon as you are able to do so. We have a limit on the number of students attending each session, so please be sure to register early in order to secure your first choice session. Once a session reaches capacity, we will no longer be able to accept registration requests for that session.
If you are unable to make any of the above Preview sessions due to extenuating circumstances, please contact the Office of First Year Initiatives by emailing email@example.com or calling us at 330-823-8685.
Register for Preview
** Preview registration will open in early May.**
Preview registration needs to be completed online. To complete your Preview registration, please log into your application portal.
Please note that you will need the personal email address and password used to complete your University of Mount Union admission application. You can find the registration form on the right sidebar of the welcome page once you log in. The registration form will ask for academic information including your intended major and academic interests as well as any College Credit Plus or AP work you’ve completed.
The Preview registration form will also ask if you will have guests attending the Preview program with you. Guests will need to pay a $50/person fee to participate in the program. If you are planning on registering guests for Preview, please have their name, contact information, dietary restrictions (if any), and if they plan to stay on campus ready before you begin the registration process.
New students will receive a confirmation email within one week of submitting their registration form confirming their Preview session. This email will also contain arrival information. Additionally, students will receive a “How to Prepare for Preview” newsletter about one week prior to their session.
