The Office of Institutional Effectiveness mission is to measure the University’s mission fulfillment and achievement of goals, organize evaluation, assessment, and improvement initiatives, support the University’s mission, values, core commitments by providing leadership in the areas of accreditation, assessment, institutional research, and educational research, and to provide support planning, d-m, accreditation, and assessment data
Education – Intervention Specialist
Students interested in earning a degree in intervention specialist will be prepared to become patient and caring teachers for all students, especially those with special needs and will develop an understanding of various strategies, legal issues, and literacy through coursework and hands-on experience.
Philosophy
A minor in philosophy empowers students to think clearly and creatively, providing them with experience in constructing and evaluating arguments about the most fundamental topics: the sources and limits of human knowledge, the nature of the world and the self, and the foundations of ethical and aesthetic value. A philosophy minor is an excellent companion to any major, marking you as a graduate with the proven ability to think clearly, deeply, and creatively.
Kolenbrander-Harter Information Center Project
The next iteration of the library will combine faculty offices, classrooms, and book stacks with a student learning commons in which tutoring and academic support are offered, digital studios encourage production of multi-media digital information, and "innovation spaces" facilitate team projects for students in education, entrepreneurship, computer science, and communications.
Department of Biological and Environmental Sciences
The Department of Biological and Environmental Sciences offers programs which are designed to educate broadly trained scientists who can creatively solve scientific problems involving life and the environment.
Department of Exercise, Sport, and Nutrition Sciences
The Department of Exercise, Sport, and Nutrition Sciences prepares students for careers in fields such as clinical exercise physiology, human performance, and nutrition science.
