Why Mount Union for graduate school?

I chose Mount Union because of the strong female leadership that runs, teaches, and leads the program. They are great mentors and leaders in innovation in the educational field. Mount Union gives you the tools necessary to take your degree to any district in any state and apply it immediately. They prepare you for any and all circumstances that will be thrown your way. All of the professors are supportive and encouraging in your pursuit of getting a masters degree while still working full time.

Immediate Degree Impact

After graduating with my masters, I was given the title of LEAP (LEarning Together to Advance our Practice) Leader for my building. It has given me a tremendous amount of leadership in curriculum, data collection, and administrative duties.

Flexibility for Working Professionals

I would recommend this program to any full time teacher that is looking to advance their career in any aspect of education. This degree gives you the flexibility to pursue leadership opportunities of all kinds across the nation.

Career Goal

My ultimate career goal is to eventually move back to Ohio and teach at the University of Mount Union. Having strong, female mentors throughout my education there has given me the drive to work towards my goal and advance my career.
