Choosing Mount Union

I learned about Mount Union by researching some of the top sport business schools in the state. I loved the smaller class sizes, and I was able to meet faculty members who made me feel at home during my visit. Through my involvement in various extracurriculars, I have been able to meet many different people who have helped me step out of my comfort zone.

Internship Experience

My education at Mount Union has allowed me to have a box office internship with the Mahoning Valley Scrappers and a part-time job with the Pro Football Hall of Fame, serve as an on-site intern for two different conferences in the sports industry: the Sport Marketing Association Conference in Las Vegas, Nevada and the National Sports Forum in Austin, Texas, I have also volunteered at the NFL Draft in Cleveland. However, my favorite experience has been serving as a sports broadcaster for Mount Union athletics. This allowed me to gain valuable skills in a field that I had no prior knowledge of before attending Mount Union.

Mount Union Community

Dr. Lori Braa has always been readily available to talk to about any problem that I may have and has helped lead me down the path of success here at Mount Union as my advisor. She supports me in anything I do on campus. Retired professor, Dr. Jim Kadlecek has also impacted my experience greatly by introducing me to the world of sales and by allowing me to travel to Las Vegas and Austin as an on-site intern at multiple conferences.
