I wouldn’t be where I am today if I didn't put an investment into Mount Union. To me, you cannot put a price tag on a valuable and meaningful education.

What Makes Mount Special?

I chose Mount Union because of the small school vibe and the friendly faculty and staff. At Mount Union I always felt at home and it will always be my second home away from home.

Finding a Place

During my time at Mount, I was involved in Alpha Chi Omega, GAMMA, Panhellenic Council. Exercise Science Club, Interscience Research Club, Relay for Life, and the UMU Dance Team, in which I was a captain my second year. My extracurricular activities prepared me in my professionalism as well as my leadership skills. With me being involved in so many different things while I was at Mount Union, I feel I learned not only how to multitask but how to be an effective and dedicated leader during my multiple leadership roles in all of them.

Valuable Education

My education at Mount has prepared me tremendously for my current graduate program that I am attending as well as for anything that comes my way. At Mount I always felt my course work was going to prepare me well for my future. I wouldn’t have changed anything about my decision to attend Mount Union. I believe a liberal arts grounded education helped me view everything through multiple avenues. The liberal arts education allowed me to take classes I wouldn’t be able to take elsewhere. I wouldn’t be where I am today if I didn't put an investment into Mount Union. To me, you cannot put a price tag on a valuable and meaningful education.

Life After Mount

I stay connected through reading the emails and newsletters that are sent out throughout the year, stay in touch with faculty and staff that made an impact on my life while I was student at Mount and most importantly, thanking them and bragging about Mount Union every chance I get for giving me such a wonderful college experience both academically and personally. I love best about my current job is being able to work with a variety of elderly patients with ranges of diagnosis and my job is to just provide them fun. I believe I make a huge difference in their lives and their lives have touched and made a huge impact on my life.

Career Goals

One goal I wish to accomplish in my life time is make my patent that Mount Union helped me file come to life and one day become something that can make a huge impact worldwide. I give back to Mount Union through the tremendous thank you’s and shout outs for making my patent and venture idea possible. If it was not for Mount believing in me, I would not be where I am today.
