Michael Chekhov Acting Technique Certified Actor and Teacher Program

This exciting program will provide comprehensive instruction in the Michael Chekhov Acting Technique. Upon completion of three one-week summer training modules, participants will either receive a certificate granting certification as a Teacher or Actor of the Technique by the Great Lakes Michael Chekhov Consortium. Each participant is evaluated by faculty who recommend which track is most appropriate for each participant. Participants may also choose which program in which they wish to participate. Please see the GLMCC website for more details.

Developed in conjunction with the Great Lakes Michael Chekhov Consortium, the program will be taught by theatre professionals who are certified in the Michael Chekhov technique. Participants will gain an understanding of the principles upon which Chekhov's teachings were founded and will participate in exercises designed to help them experience the techniques firsthand.
