FAIRPORT, New York — The University of Mount Union is proud to announce that Tammi Kohl Kennedy, director of academic support, was named one of the recipients of Alpha Lambda Delta’s (ALD) Executive Director Advisor Awards for 2019-2020. 

Kohl Kennedy, who has advised the Mount Union chapter of ALD since 2018, was one of five award recipients selected from the more than 280 ALD chapters at college campuses across the country.

“I am honored by this award. Honestly, working with my ALD Executive Board and our talented members make advising our chapter easy,” said Kohl Kennedy. “They are a great group of students and I’m proud to serve as their leader!” 

A media release from ALD stated, “Kohl Kennedy has had exceptional recruitment for scholarships and switched her school from a manual invitation process to the online membership system. She also created a Faculty Appreciation video to honor faculty members who have aided in the success of her chapter’s members.” ALD is a national honor society that recognizes students’ academic success in their first year at a college or university.
