Mount Union Alliance Chorale to Present “Together in Song” November 18

The Mount Union Alliance Chorale’s Fall concert, “Together in Song”, will be held November 18 at 3 p.m. in Brush Performance Hall in the Giese Center for the Performing Arts on the University of Mount Union campus.

The chorale is under direction of Jane Page with artistic collaboration from Nancy Howenstine.

The program will include “How Can I Keep From Singing?” and “Together in Song” arranged by Gwyneth Walker, “Silent Night” arranged by Eric Nelson, “Deck the Hall” arranged by Mark Wilberg and numerous additional works.

Soloists include David Duro and Alan Howenstine, trumpet; Jennifer Mollenkopf, French horn;  Rebecca Ciabattari, trombone; William Ciabattari, tuba; Amanda Howenstine, percussion and Beverly Kalasky, piano.

The Mount Union Alliance Chorale includes a combination of community members and University of Mount Union students and faculty. The chorale has performed together since 1982 and presents two concerts each year.

Tickets are $8 for general public and can be purchased at the University of Mount Union box office. The box office can be found online at www.mountunion.edu/boxoffice, by phone at (330) 821-2565 or in-person Monday-Friday from 2-4:30 p.m. and one hour prior to the start of the performance.
