ALLIANCE, Ohio – The Engaging, Innovation and Technology (ESIT) series will consist of three presentations scheduled for the spring 2018 semester at the University of Mount Union.

Dr. Amy McElhinney, associate professor of biology, will present on “Regeneration: Can Humans Eventually Regrow Lost Limbs?” The presentation will take place on Wednesday, February 28.

Dr. Andrew Hutsky, assistant professor of geology, will present on Wednesday, March 28. The presentation is titled “Hydrocarbon Exploration: Geological Methods and Modern Technologies.”

The final presentation will be presented on Wednesday, April 18 by Dr. Richelle Treeling-Smith, assistant professor of physics. The presentation is titled “Quantum Computers: From Theory to Practice.”

All presentations will take place from 4:15 to 5:15 p.m. in Bracy Hall room 04 on the campus of Mount Union and are free and open to the public.

The ESIT series is meant to engage the campus community by developing an environment of mutual learning between the natural science departments. The series allows faculty members the opportunity to present on an interesting and modern topic related to science, innovation and technology.
