Working in the Art Industry
At Mount Union, I have had the opportunity to work on multiple hands-on projects that have helped shape my experience in graphic design and marketing. I worked on a branding project through my Raider Studio course with professor Muffet. In this course, I served as the client manager, and my team partnered with Shakespeare at the Castle to develop a rebrand. This allowed me to collaborate with a real client and apply classroom concepts in a real-world setting. I have also held a marketing internship with the Ohio Travel Soccer League, where I created content and promotional materials while gaining experience in branding and engagement through social media. I will also be completing an internship this upcoming summer with WRL Advertising in Canton, OH. Through this experience, I will gain real experience in agency work, which is where I would like to pursue a career. Working directly under graphic designers at the company will be very beneficial to my future.
Being a Student-Athlete
Mount Union's soccer and track coaches reached out to me to learn about athletics at Mount. I've made many friendships both in the classroom and on the field, playing soccer. They push and encourage me to be my best. They really make Mount Union feel like a second home.
