Director/Shareholder

Mount Union's campus and the faculty's interest and involvement in students' academic development is what I believe sets Mount Union apart from other institutions. I know this because I benefited from the same personal attention and educational experience years ago that students receive today.

Education

B.A. Political Science

I am an attorney practicing in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, commercial real estate and health care. I am also an owner of a number of closely held businesses with clients and friends. I’m privileged to serve as chair of the Board at the University of Mount Union and the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

Getting Involved

Although I originally chose Mount Union to play football. I quickly got involved on campus  by joining the fraternity Alpha Tau Omega (ATO), campus center staff and numerous academic honorary societies. I also served as a resident advisor.

The Mount Union Effect

Mount Union’s campus and the faculty’s interest and involvement in students’ academic development is what I believe sets Mount Union apart from other institutions. I know this because I benefited from the same personal attention and educational experience years ago that students receive today.

Favorite Professor

My favorite professor was Hugh Pinney because of his genuine interest in me as a student and my interest in accounting.

A True Raider Supporter

As an alumnus, one of my goals has always been to return to Mount Union to make it an even better place to learn and grow. I’ve had the opportunity to do just that by serving as a member of the Board of Trustees and currently as chair of the Board. My proudest moment has been watching our Board’s strategic plan become a reality, which has in turn made our alma mater an even stronger institution of learning and poised to continue to grow in a challenging time for higher education.

Path to Success

After graduating from Mount Union with a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science and minor in accounting, I went to Case Western Reserve School of Law to pursue my Juris Doctor degree. I now work as a lawyer helping others achieve their personal and business dreams.

Valuable Education

Mount Union gave me an excellent foundation in writing and advocacy. My education has been a valuable investment – the best I ever made.
