Select your student type under the term you are entering below to learn more about these programs.

Students Enrolling in August 2023

  1. First-Time Student

    What is Preview?

Preview is a required two-day overnight program that provides new students and families the opportunity to “preview” all that Mount Union has to offer. At Preview, new students will be introduced to campus culture by becoming aware of the resources, support, and experiences available. Moreover, they will schedule for classes and meet an array of faculty, staff, and upper-class student mentors.

    Preview 2023 Sessions

All new students who plan to enroll for the Fall 2023 semester must attend one of the following overnight Preview sessions and participate in its entirety. New students’ families and guests are invited to participate and stay overnight for the full experience as well. Day 1 of the program will begin at 11 a.m. and conclude at approximately 3 p.m. the following day. The Preview sessions available are:

    • June 16-17
    • July 7-8
    • July 9-10

If you are unable to make any of the above Preview sessions due to being out-of-state or experiencing extenuating circumstances, please contact the Office of New Student Programs.

    Register for Preview

Preview registration will open mid-May. Students will receive an email, text message, and postcard from the University when registration opens.

Preview registration needs to be completed online. To complete your registration, please login to your application portal. Please note that you will need the personal email address and password used to complete your University of Mount Union admission application. The registration form will ask for academic information, including your intended major and academic interests, as well as any College Credit Plus or AP work you’ve completed.

*Please register for Preview as soon as you are able to do so. We have a limit on the number of students attending each session, so please register early in order to secure your first choice session. Once a session reaches capacity, we will no longer be able to accept registration requests for that session.**

The Preview registration form will also ask if guests will attend the Preview program with you. Guests must pay a $65/person fee to participate in the program. If you plan to register guests for Preview, please have their name, contact information, dietary restrictions (if any), and knowledge of whether they plan to stay on campus prior to the registration process.

New students will receive a confirmation email as well as arrival and contact information about one week prior to their session.
