New Student and Family Programming

Congratulations on your decision to continue your educational career at the University of Mount Union!

The Office of New Student & Leadership Programs is here to help you transition to college by ensuring you are equipped to navigate campus life. New and undergraduate students enrolling at the University of Mount Union for the Spring 2026 semester are required to participate in Preview.

Our Preview & Orientation Programs prepare students for fulfilling lives, meaningful work, and responsible citizenship by providing a welcoming and informative introduction to campus life. Through intentional programming, we help students build a strong foundation for academic success, personal growth, and active community engagement. Our programs foster a sense of belonging, promote leadership and service, and equip students with the knowledge and skills needed to thrive in their college journey and beyond.

Students Enrolling in January 2026

  1. First-Time and Transfer Students

Preview is a required, one-day program that provides new students and families the opportunity to “preview” all that Mount Union has to offer. At Preview, new students have the opportunity to build connections and learn about academic and campus resources.

Your required Preview session will take place on Sunday, January 11, 2026.

  2. Family Members and Guests

Parents, family members, and guests are welcome and encouraged to attend a Preview session alongside their student. We provide a family and guest schedule that runs concurrently with the student schedule. For some programs, families/guests and students have separate schedules.
