Jurying of Fine Arts
This year's ArtFest juror is Shannon Hamilton, an Ohio-based artist who focuses on sculpture through a variety of mixed medium. She received her Master of the Fine Arts through Kent State University with a concentration on the three-dimensional practice of sculpture. Hamilton has taught a variety of artistic disciplines at the University of Mount Union over the last five years. She is a exhibited artist, who showcases nature focused sculptures in an array of compositions and also incorporates small details that embrace her home surroundings. Hamilton works in both metal and wood, working along with numerous art mediums such as aggregates, resins, and naturally derived mediums.
