ArtFest

Due to a recent change in the Mount Union football schedule, the game against Baldwin Wallace—originally published as a home game on September 27—is actually an away game. In light of this change, and to ensure strong attendance and a vibrant atmosphere, we have decided to move ArtFest and the Carnation Food Truck Rally along with Family Day to Saturday, October 4. These events will now be held in conjunction with Alumni Weekend and Homecoming on campus.

ArtFest, sponsored by the University of Mount Union and the Alliance Area Chamber of Commerce, annually features original works by area artists showcasing various media, including watercolor, oil, ceramics, fine crafts, photography, jewelry, and printmaking, among others. ArtFest will also feature merchants selling vintage items, plants, and bulk-created items like t-shirts, mugs, jewelry, etc. The event features items that are both on display and for sale.

The 61st Annual ArtFest is back and will once again be held at its historic location around the Campus Lakes of Mount Union. The event will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in conjunction with the Mount Union vs. Otterbein football game, Homecoming, Family Day and Carnation City Food Truck Rally.

In the past, ArtFest has hosted more than 60 vendors and 3,000 visitors.
