ALUMNI WEEKEND, HOMECOMING, AND FAMILY DAY

We enjoyed seeing alumni, family members, and friends on campus for Alumni Weekend, Homecoming, and Family Day 2023! Attendees had an opportunity to enjoy a variety of reunions, athletic events, Run-A-MUC, and so much more!

    Stop by any time to greet, honor, and celebrate Gregory L. King '89, Mount Union's 14th president, hosted by the Black Student Union in collaboration with Sister Circle and Brothers Building Bonds. Appetizers and refreshments will be provided.

    Please join us for a Raider Alumni Softball Game during Alumni Weekend, Homecoming, and Family Day 2023! This year’s contest will feature one seven-inning slow-pitch game, alumni vs. alumni. Please RSVP to Coach Simons by Monday, September 25 to reserve your place!   2. Lunch

    1 - 5 p.m., Relax and De-Stress Event, Huston-Brumbaugh Nature Center   
    EVERYONE needs to manage their stress these days. Stop by at your convenience and enjoy some relaxing activities such as strolling through the peaceful woods, walking the labyrinth, relaxing by the pond, listening to live music, light refreshments, and more. Come alone or bring the family - there is something for everyone!

Alumni Award Recipients 

DODIE DAVIS ALUMNI SERVICE AWARD

The Alumni Service Award was established in 1942 and is presented in recognition of outstanding achievement in a chosen profession or field and for service to the University or community. The award represents the highest non-academic honor an alumnus/alumna can receive from Mount Union. In 2003, the award was renamed in honor of Dodie Davis ’62 for her 35 years of service and dedication to the institution.

McKINLEY FELLOW AWARD

The McKinley Fellow Award is named for former U.S. President William McKinley, who was a member of the Mount Union Board of Trustees and worked as a friend of the University for many years. This award honors a select group of individuals who have had a significant impact on Mount Union as non-alumni.

YOUNG ALUMNI AWARD

The Young Alumni Award honors and recognizes those who, at very early stages in their chosen careers or callings, exemplify what Mount Union hopes all alumni will strive to achieve upon graduating from Mount Union. The award is given to graduates within the past 15 years of their outstanding support, leadership, and dedication to the University as young alumni.
