Becoming a Physical Therapist

I am pursuing a career in physical therapy to fulfill my life goal of helping others return to their lives and regular activities. I would love to work with athletes and give back to the athletic community. With exposure to real-world scenarios, I am gaining critical thinking skills which will help me make diagnoses quicker.

Why Study at Mount Union?

Mount Union's DPT program's approach to preparing students to become excellent physical therapists is learning from real-life situations, even during laboratory work. We've studied patient case studies, reviewing their symptoms and reviewing what we've learned in class so that we can make a professional and evidence-based decision. In addition, every staff and faculty member in the program treats students with respect, kindness, and we all care for each other like a family! When we're stressed with all the semester brings, we make the time as a cohort to play intramural sports together.
