Impactful Faculty Members
My professors, Dr. Grossman, professor Kern, Dr. Haddox, and professor Kachilla have made the largest impact on my UMU experience so far. They have guided and helped me through any questions or doubts I may have, whether it be about their class or about Mount Union in general. They have been incredibly kind to me and are one of the reasons why I love UMU so much.
Overcoming Obstacles
To get to the point where I am right now, I have had to learn to deal with multiple health issues. These have made it difficult to push through and get done what needs done. However, with perseverance, strength from God, and help from my wonderful professors, I have done well so far.
Choosing Mount Union
I heard about Mount Union because my sister-in-law attended Mount. I chose to attend Mount Union because of their excellent language programs and travel abroad opportunities. I also knew that it was a very good school from word of mouth. I've made many friends and met wonderful professors who make Mount Union feel like my second home. But I am looking forward to experiencing all the fun and interesting opportunities that will help me grow personally and professionally, like traveling to Washington DC in the spring.
