Passion for Autism Intervention

My research on best practices for training professionals in the field of autism intervention has been instrumental in the work that I do as director of the Spectrum Education Center. The research has guided the development of the new autism studies minor, that prepares our students for successful careers in the field of autism intervention and advocacy.

Career Excitement

I love my job and the diversity in my daily routine. In my current role I am able to teach, conduct research, and maintain a clinical practice in Applied Behavior Analysis. The department of Psychology, Neuroscience, and Human Development is unique in its offerings of co-curricular activities. Whether students are learning to face their fear on the roller coasters at Cedar Point or working as Peer Mentors with autistic individuals at the Spectrum Education Center, there are always opportunities to get involved.
