I started my own business and am currently the CEO of the KrewWay Experience. As DJKrooze, my team and I bring musical entertainment to clubs, weddings, private parties, and community events.
Why Mount Union?
I chose Mount Union because it wasn't too close to home but wasn't too far either. The campus was welcoming and gave off good vibes from the get-go. What really grabbed me was the radio station (WRMU). It had tech I had never seen before and I knew I wanted to know everything about it! From there it was a wrap, I was sold!
Mount Union was in my life right when I needed it to be. I had lost someone very important to me days before my first day on campus and because of Mount Union, I had healthy outlets and people to hold me up and get me through a really hard time. I am eternally grateful for the university and the people.
Mount Union Opportunities
Hosting events for WRMU helped me get a feel for a live crowd and be confident in my public speaking and hosting. Working on air during live radio shows helped me get a feel for a natural flow of music.
Best Part of My Job
I love being my own boss. I also get to travel and meet all kinds of people! Every event is different and every gig is never the same.
Goals For the Future
I want to go back to China where my DJ career started and show them how much I have learned and grown!
