A Career in Political Science
After graduation, I look forward to pursuing a career in public service. My time at Mount Union has equipped me with the skills to succeed in a professional environment. Hands-on experiences like my internship with the city of Canton have been especially valuable in preparing me. I've also traveled to Washington D.C. to lobby on Capitol Hill.

Impactful Faculty Member
While I’ve had several amazing professors, one that stands out is Dr. Halaseh. As a Sophomore, I had the opportunity to take both his congressional politics and civil rights, race, and gender courses. What stands out about Dr. Halaseh, is his ability to create a welcoming and fun classroom environment. Because of this, I became close friends with several of my classmates that semester and our discussions often extended beyond the classroom. As a professor, Dr. Halaseh challenges students to think critically while pushing them to be the best versions of themselves. His passion for political science and teaching has made a lasting impact on my college experience.
