Life after Graduation
I am a first grade teacher at Lexington Elementary. I get the privilege to work with the best kiddos everyday. My favorite part of my career is making an impact on the future generation. I love helping kids learn and seeing just how much they grow—it’s the most rewarding part of what I do. My goal as an educator is to ensure that every child feels seen, heard, and cared for in my classroom, no matter what personal challenges they may be facing.
Staying Connected to Mount Union
While at Mount Union, I was actively involved in several extracurriculars, including the Mount Union majorettes and Alpha Phi Omega, a co-ed service fraternity. These experiences taught me valuable skills like time management and teamwork—qualities I use every day in my career. I stay connected to Mount Union by serving as the majorette advisor.
