A Career in Spiritual Life

I chose my two majors because I had a change of heart in my second year. I was desiring a new career path where I could work with college students in ministry. The two majors that I will attain allow me to better understand people and help lead them spiritually. I specifically want to be a university chaplain. By working with me to create my own approved major I have received so much support in my plan. Dr. Nicole Johnson and Rev. Dr. Morrison have helped me find exactly what I want to do with my career and I could not be more appreciative.

Real-World Experience

I currently have an internship with the University Chaplain, Reverend Dr. Tim Morrison. This has been easily the best work experience I have ever had. I have been able to challenge myself in new ways by planning my own sermons that I give, new events for campus, and playing a major role in planning the spring break service trip to Galveston, Texas.

Impactful Faculty Members

Dr. Nicole Johnson and Dr. Tim Morrison have helped me decide on a career along with helping me gain experience in the career. But, I've also been impacted by Dean Frazier, Sara Sherer, Casey Casper, Dr. Sullivan, Dr. Mendel, and Abby Schroeder.
