Student-Athlete Career
chose Mount Union for several reasons. The strength of both the academic and athletic programs is the first, and most important, reason that I chose UMU. While playing on the football team, I learned time management, dedication, and teamwork skills, along with responsibility for one's job while working with others to achieve the highest level of success. Being a student-athlete taught me many life lessons that I was able to apply both on and off the football field. My athletic career led me to pursue a sports business major which led me to hold an internship with the Hall of Fame.
Mount Union Impact
The stories of praise and success that I heard from both current students and alumni reassured me the University of Mount Union was the best for me to further my education. I was fortunate enough in my studies to do mock interviews, not only in my classes, but also with other programs offered by the university. While interning at the Hall of Fame I fell in love with the company and dreamed of working for them upon graduating from college. I was also fortunate to work with the Cleveland Browns and Cleveland Cavaliers which expanded my professional skills. Mount Union gave me many opportunities not only to enhance my professional career, but to become involved in the Alliance community.
Career Aspirations
I manage the Pro Football Hall of Fame museum membership program, museum and event tickets, and guest services. I love the people I work with and the atmosphere of my job. Not many people go home from work excited everyday knowing that having a dream job as your first job, is actually a reality. I have exciting experiences and memories on a daily basis. Each day is truly unique. In my career I want to continue to learn, grow and elevate positions, while continuing my passion for what I’m doing. I want to continue having a career where not only am I proud, but where I make my family proud too!
