New Student and Family Programming

Congratulations on your decision to continue your educational career at the University of Mount Union! The Office of New Student Programs is designed to assist with your transition by ensuring that you are equipped to navigate campus life. Our intentional programs will allow you to learn about the university culture and provide the opportunity to connect with faculty, staff, and fellow students. We cannot wait to welcome you to the Raider Family!

Students Enrolling in Spring 2023

Spring Orientation will take place on Sunday, January 8, 2023 and the first day of classes is Monday, January 9, 2023.

Students Enrolling in Fall 2023

New undergraduate students enrolling at the University of Mount Union for the Fall 2023 semester are required to participate in a two-part orientation program, Summer Preview and Fall Orientation. We’re excited to invite new students and families back to campus for these in-person programs.

More Information about the Summer Preview and Fall Orientation Programs will be available in early spring 2023.

Students Enrolling in Spring 2023

  1. First-Time Student

    Register for Spring Orientation

    To register for Spring Orientation, please complete this form. The registration form will ask for academic information, including your intended major, academic interests, and any College Credit Plus or AP work that you’ve completed. Once deposited, new students will receive a Welcome email including orientation logistics, course registration information, and the new student checklists. At the first of the 2023 year, new students will receive a reminder email containing move-in information (for those residing on campus) and the spring orientation schedule.

    Attend Spring Orientation on Sunday, January 8, 2023

    While attending Spring Orientation, new students will learn about general education requirements, have their ID picture taken, access University technology systems, finalize their first semester schedule, and meet a handful of faculty, staff, and fellow students.

  2. Transfer Student

    Register for Spring Orientation

    To register for Spring Orientation, please complete this form. The registration form will ask for academic information, including your intended major, academic interests, and any College Credit Plus or AP work that you’ve completed.     Students enrolling in January 2023 will attend International Student Orientation on Friday, January 6, 2023. Additionally, they will attend Spring Orientation on Sunday, January 8, 2023.

  4. Family Members and Guests

    Guests are encouraged to attend Spring Orientation, but they need to be registered as well. There is no cost for students or guests to participate.
