Congratulations on your decision to join the University of Mount Union for the next step in your educational career. New students enrolling at the University of Mount Union are required to participate in a two-part orientation program, Preview and Orientation. Please select your student type under the term you are entering below to learn more about these programs.

First-Time Student
* First-time students are those who have not attended college after graduating high school
Preview is a chance to “preview” much of what Mount Union has to offer you, a new student. You will schedule classes, learn about extracurricular activities, meet other students as well as faculty and staff, and much more!
Preview will include synchronous and asynchronous virtual components. The different required components are outlined below.
Online Preview Program
All new students will complete an online program which will include information regarding residential or commuter life, ordering books, campus resources, and much more. You will receive an email through the New Raider News series when the online program becomes available in late December. We ask that you complete the online Preview program before the semester begins.
Live Preview Program
Preview is a half-day virtual event that will take place on Friday, January 8, 2021, from 12:30 p.m. – 5 p.m. Registration for this program is required and detailed below. During this program, you will learn about academic requirements, life at Mount Union, and how to best achieve success in college from the student perspective.
Register for Preview
Preview registration is now open. Preview registration needs to be completed online. To complete your Preview registration, please log into your application portal.Please note that you will need the personal email address and password used to complete your University of Mount Union admission application. Once you log into the application portal, the link to Preview registration will be on your welcome page. The registration form will ask for academic information including your intended major and academic interests as well as any College Credit Plus or AP work you’ve completed.
You will receive a confirmation email within one week of submitting your registration. This email will also contain login information for the program.
Orientation
Orientation will take place on Sunday, January 10, 2021. Orientation will be an in-person event in a physically distanced setting where masks will be required. The schedule will be available for Orientation in early January. -
Transfer Student

International Student
International students enrolling for the first time in January 2021 can begin arriving on campus on 4 January 2021.
All new international students will participate in either respective first-time student or transfer student Preview and Orientation programs. Additionally, there will be a new international student orientation on the morning of 8 January 2021.
