Mount Union Continues Renewal of Successful Investment Alliance Award

March 19, 2026

ALLIANCE — The University of Mount Union is pleased to announce the renewal of its Investment Alliance Award, which awards up to 15 full undergraduate tuition scholarships to students ranked in the top 15 of the Alliance High School graduating class. This award will be available for the fall cohort of 2030 – those currently in the eighth grade. The program, which launched in 2014, was previously renewed for the fall cohorts of 2026, 2027, 2028 and 2029.

Students in the program are awarded eight consecutive semesters of eligibility (fall and spring semesters) unless the undergraduate degree is completed before then. To be eligible, students must demonstrate continuous traditional enrollment at Alliance High School for the full four years of study and earn an Alliance High School diploma, completing all degree requirements by the spring commencement.

“The Investment Alliance Award continues to be a strength in our community, ensuring some of the most talented students stay local and lift up the city of Alliance,” said Greg King, president of the University. “We are pleased to continue this partnership for the betterment of our students and the community.”

This award is also predicated upon the assumption that recipients will give back to the city of Alliance during their time as Investment Alliance Award recipients by participating in community service initiatives each semester.

Students and families interested in the specific requirements of the award should contact their Alliance City Schools guidance counselor. For more information about the program and other Mount Union scholarship and grant opportunities, visit mountunion.edu/scholarships-and-grants.
