Office of the University Registrar

The Office of the University Registrar is responsible for providing the academic record-keeping function required by Mount Union and providing a large part of the planning, management, and operational information required by the University. The office's goal is to support the faculty and administration in their efforts to realize the goals and objectives of the University, to support the students in their efforts to obtain an education and to provide services and information needed by the wider public, including alumni and former students.

  1. Official Transcripts and Transcript Requests
    • Online Transcript Request
      Order a transcript from this link when you are away from campus. Come to the Office of the University Registrar to request a transcript when you are on campus. Transcripts ordered online are $7.00 per transcript, plus an additional $3.00 processing fee.
    • Transcript Request Form
      Use this form to order transcripts directly from the Office of the University Registrar. Please note that using the Transcript Request Link above will be a faster way of receiving your transcript. Transcripts ordered in the Office of the University Registrar are $7.00. All students receive one free transcript during and/or after their time at the University.

  2. Academic Calendar and Final Exam Schedules


    • Spring 2024 Final Exam Schedule
      Students must take the final exam at the scheduled time. Any individual requests to change the final exam times must be made with a petition to the Academic Policies Committee. Petitions to Change Final Exam Times must be completed and submitted to the Office of the University Registrar by 5 p.m. on Friday of the 12th week of classes. For classes with a lab, the exam time is dictated by the lecture time. When class is held only one day per week, with a different course held in the same room on another day, the first class held that week will follow the appointed exam time and the second will be the exam time for “all others.”

  5. Registration for Summer and Fall 2024
    • Summer and Fall 2024 Registration
      Registration for Fall 2024 will begin on Tuesday, March 19 for seniors and graduate students at 7 a.m. and close on Friday, April 12 at 5 p.m. for all students. Please reference the registration date link for details. Summer registration is currently open to all students and will close on Friday, May 17 at 5 p.m.
      • Self-Service Registration For Fall 2024
        For Fall 2024, all active students with no hold on their accounts can register using Self-Service. Please note that you MUST meet with you advisor to discuss your schedule and be authorized in Self-Service by your advisor.
      • Acadeum Registration Information
        Students can register for courses through this online course-sharing consortium for $475 per credit hour. While counting as Mount Union courses on the transcript, these courses are not included in the regular tuition charges. Please visit www.acadeum.com for more details.

    • Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA)
      • FERPA Release Form
        In order for the University to share any information about your educational records with anyone, including parents, you must have a signed FERPA release form on file. You may print this form, but someone from the Office of the University Registrar must witness you signing it of your own free will.
      • Find a Student's FERPA Release
        Use this link to connect with Starfish. All FERPA release forms are loaded into Starfish by the Office of the University Registrar. Once in Starfish, you can view the FERPA Release and all the specific details of that release. Remember that each release has specific information about what can and cannot be shared with the 3rd party on behalf of the student. It is VERY important that you contact the University Registrar if you have any questions, concerns, or doubts about a FERPA release.
      • What is FERPA?
        In accordance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (commonly referred to as FERPA, or the "Buckley Amendment,") Mount Union has adopted the following policies and procedures to protect the privacy of educational records. Students will be notified of their FERPA rights annually by publication in the Mount Union Catalog and on the University's website.

        Beginning the Summer of 2021, the University of Mount Union has a new student information system (Colleague) that comes with a new and improved Self-Service Portal. This is the most current and active Self-Service. The old PowerCampus Self-Service will no longer be updated and will sunset at the end of the Fall 2021 term.
