Choosing Mount Union
I chose my major because I want to be the teacher that supports and nurtures others to blossom as people. Plus I've always loved music education, and Mount Union had music education as a program.
Future Career
My ultimate goal is to become a music teacher and continue volunteering with non-profits. At Mount Union I have been able to get hands on experience in the classroom, with a supportive environment, friendly faces, and room to grow as a future educator.
Advice to Prospective Students
Spend a day at your prospective universities as a student to see the environment, teaching styles, and overall feel for the college life. And learn how you can become involved on campus as a student.
