CANTON, Ohio – University of Mount Union student Allie Bennett ’18, a human resource management major of Carrollton, Ohio, recently earned the 2018 Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Entrepreneurship Scholarship. 

The amount the annual SBDC of Stark County entrepreneurship scholarship award is $500. The scholarship recognizes an outstanding Mount Union student that demonstrates the use of entrepreneurial concepts in classwork and community service.

“I am so thankful for this scholarship and The University of Mount Union.  I am also grateful for John Myers and Professor Michael Kachilla for always pushing me and creating so many opportunities for me,” Bennett said. “I have also received so much support from my parents and little brother by coming to pitches and supporting me.”
