Business Students Earn Awards from International Honorary
September 04, 2026BROOKFIELD, Illinois — Delta Mu Delta (DMD), the international honor society in business, recently recognized two University of Mount Union students with significant awards. Olivia Brothers ’27, and Jayde Snyder M’27, earned the DMD Regional Award and DMD Board Award, respectively.
Brothers, an accounting major of Malvern, Ohio, aims to pursue a career as a certified public accountant or continue to graduate school.
“Receiving the Delta Mu Delta scholarship is such an honor and a meaningful recognition of the hard work I have put into my education,” Brothers said. “As an accounting major, it encourages me to continue striving for excellence and working toward my future career goals.”

Snyder, of Bainbridge, Ohio, is a graduate student in the leadership and innovation concentration as part of Mount Union’s online Master of Business Administration (MBA). Her career goals include advancing into senior leadership in people, culture and organizational strategy, with long-term plans to pursue her Ph.D. in organizational behavior.
“Earning this scholarship not only recognizes the hard work I’ve put into balancing graduate school, career, caregiving and leadership, it also provides a meaningful financial blessing for my family with my school tuition and gives me the emotional support to stay focused on my studies and long‑term goals,” Snyder said.
