July 22, 2025

SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico — Demonstrating its dedication to putting students first, the University of Mount Union was once again cited as one of America’s Best Colleges by “Money” for 2025.

Mount Union was one of only 19 institutions in Ohio to earn at least three and a half stars out of five in Money’s ratings. Only 732 colleges across the country qualified for the listing, which considers quality of education, affordability and alumni outcomes as part of its methodology.

Mount Union’s continued recognition by Money reflects its commitment to making education accessible to students of all backgrounds, with $37 million awarded each year through grants and scholarships and 99% of students receiving some form of financial aid. The outlet also found that 80% of Mount Union graduates earn more than the average high school graduate across the country, proving a college degree to be a worthwhile investment.
