ALLIANCE, Ohio — Members of the University of Mount Union dance team, Julie Fioritto ’21, an athletic training major of Westlake, Ohio, Olivia Bevan ’22, nursing major of Hubbard, Ohio and Victoria Rieger ’21, psychology major of Houston, Pennsylvania were finalists featured in the Universal Dance Association’s (UDA) Solo Showdown.

UDA’s first-ever Solo Showdown was a virtual competition that showcased more than 300 athletes nationally as they performed solo routines in a variety of styles.

“I am so very proud of Julie, Olivia and Victoria for representing the University of Mount Union in the UDA Solo Showdown,” said Jill Grove, spirit squads advisor. “They all did an amazing job competing against all collegiate dance divisions. I was thrilled for their opportunity for this event.”
