ALLIANCE, Ohio – A reception for University of Mount Union student Masashi Nishiguchi, a mathematics major of Tokyo, Japan, will take place Tuesday, September 18 at 11:15 a.m. in the mezzanine area of the Kolenbrander-Harter Information Center.
Nishiguchi recently returned from attending the Seventh International Meeting on Origami in Science, Mathematics and Education (7OSME) in Oxford, England. He was invited to attend the conference by Robert J. Lang, an origami expert and Fellow of the American Mathematical Society.
During the reception, Nishiguchi will feature conference photos and answer questions. The event is free to attend and open to the public and campus community.
