The Department of Music at the University of Mount Union will host the Christmas Festival of Flutes on Sunday December 9 at 5 p.m. in Presser Recital Hall in Cope Music Hall. 

The free event is open to all flute players of all ages and levels.  Flute, piccolo, alto, bass and contra-bass flutes will gather to perform Christmas carols and other holiday selections. 

Band directors as well as churches, schools and the community are welcome to bring their groups to perform as well. 

Participants will meet at 1 p.m. to receive music followed by rehearsals.
