Mount Union Nursing Achieves 100% Pass Rate on NCLEX for Fourth Time
July 01, 2026ALLIANCE — The University of Mount Union’s School of Nursing is proud to announce that its Class of 2026 achieved a 100% pass rate on the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX-RN).
This is the fourth time in a decade that Mount Union’s nurses have accomplished this remarkable goal. The University was also nearly 17 points above the average pass rate for the State of Ohio and nearly 14 points above the national average. Mount Union’s program average continues to hold at an impressive 92% since its inception.

“This achievement represents far more than an exam score—it reflects years of hard work, perseverance, and growth,” said Christine Keele, undergraduate nursing director and clinical assistant professor in Mount Union’s School of Nursing. “Watching our students develop into confident, compassionate nurses has been incredibly rewarding. We are proud of the Class of 2026 and grateful to our outstanding faculty whose mentorship and commitment to student success continue to make accomplishments like this possible.”

NCLEX is an exam organized by the National Council of State Boards of Nursing which is, “dedicated to developing psychometrically sound and legally defensible nurse licensure and certification examinations consistent with current practice.”
