Mount Union Legacy

I love Mount Union for several reasons - but the biggest one is who I get to love it with! I was the fifth member of my family to attend and graduate from Mount Union, alongside three of my siblings and my mom. It holds a special place in my heart for me to be able to share it with them, as well as everyone who I've met throughout my college career. My favorite memory has to be Mount Union homecomings and tailgates! My family and our friends would come together and reconnect. It was such an awesome feeling each year. I stay connected to Mount Union by social media and visiting campus! I follow Mount Union on multiple platforms, and have connected with past professors, so I am able to stay involved with what’s going on throughout the semester, as well as new and exciting things that are taking place.

Life after Graduation

I started my career as a talent acquisition specialist at my company, where I learned a lot about hiring, processes, and adapting to change. Now that I’ve recently moved into a new role in Payroll, I’m excited to continue learning and find ways to improve processes. One of the things I like most about my current position is the people I work with. My experience at Mount Union, particularly through the diverse courses offered by the School of Business and my core curriculum, helped shape me into a well-rounded student. The culture in the workplace is supportive, and I have several colleagues I can rely on whenever I have questions. It’s a positive and collaborative environment! There are many different areas within HR, and I look forward to growing my skills and taking on new opportunities as they come.
