Additionally, the space will include nine faculty offices, a dedicated study area, a student lounge, men’s and women’s locker rooms, a lunchroom and an outdoor patio for student downtime. There is also a dedicated area for training and testing with external clients and a flexible ADL space that will be utilized mainly by the MSOT program and is available to the DPT program as well.

"Members and alumni of the Mount Union DPT program have a penchant for growth and development,” said Dr. Sheryl Holt, director of Mount Union’s DPT program. “We have strategies to optimize this new space to further our legacy of transformational learning outcomes, of students who become patient-centered PTs, characterized by innovation, compassion, and creativity, doctoring professionals on the move."
"I’m grateful for the strong support our university administration and faculty continue to show for the MSOT program,” said Dr. Carey Minard, director of Mount Union’s MSOT program. "Their commitment made the new lab spaces and updated classrooms possible, and it reflects their deep belief in our students’ success. With the new realistic ADL environment, the space is practical, immersive, and exactly the kind of setting that helps future OTs build their skills with confidence.”
