Campus Programming

RAIDER PROGRAMMING BOARD MEMBERSHIP 

Student volunteers comprise the Raider Programming Board and help to plan and implement all RPB events. Any University of Mount Union student can, and is encouraged to, join RPB by attending weekly meetings on Wednesdays at 5:30 p.m. in the Student Affairs Suite of Hoover-Price Campus Center. If you are interested in becoming a member of the Raider Programming Board or have questions about this organization, please do not hesitate to an executive board member at rpb@mountunion.edu.

Campus Programming

  1. Midweek Madness

    Midweek Madness events occur Wednesday Evenings at 7 p.m. throughout the semester. These events are free and open to all students, faculty, and staff on campus. Many of these activities also include refreshments and the chance to win raffle prizes.

  2. Coffeehouse Series

    Show off your talents at open mic nights in the Campus Grounds, HPCC!  Singing, dancing, musicians, poetry…you name it, all are welcome. No need to sign up ahead of time, just show up!  Coffeehouse takes place at 7 p.m. on the following Friday nights.

    • After Hour Series

      The Raider Programming Board’s After Hours Series allows students to get off campus once a month for a fun activity. Admission and transportation is included in price.

    • Traditions and Events

      Mount Union prides itself on its rich history and traditions, and programming is no exception. RPB plans and implements, sometimes in conjunction with other offices on campus, several traditions events throughout the year.


      Week of Welcome- August 19-23, 2019

      Week of Welcome gives students a full week of engaging social events upon arrival on the campus in the Fall. Whether it is Raiderfest, where you can meet and learn about student organizations, a Blockbuster movie on campus, a concert, or Tacos & Tie-Dye, students can come out, get free stuff, eat great food, meet new people and get off to a great start for the year! 


      Homecoming Week- October 15-19, 2019

      An entire fun-filled week of events is planned to lead up to the Mount Union Homecoming Football game and festivities on Saturday, October 19. In the past, Homecoming Week has included such fun programs as a bonfire, parade, hot chocolate delivered via gold car, and of course, Mr. UMU! 


      Family Day- Saturday, September 21, 2019

      Family Day provides students and their families a time to reconnect during the semester. A full day of events is planned, so check the Family Day website (mountunion.edu/familyday) for the schedule. Registration for Family Day begins August 5.
